"Forever", is a Hallberg Rassy 352, Hull Number 331. She was manufactured in the Hallberg Rassy shipyards in Ellos, Sweden in 1983.  She was initially purchased by a German gentleman from Weissach and registered in his home port that year.

The next documented information that I have seen is a VAT invoice from the Marina Di Portorosa on the 31st March 1993. Thus, it would appear that "Forever" had travelled from Sweden to Germany and over the following 10 years had got as far as Italy.

Later that year, she was sold to an English gentleman from Lowestoft in Suffolk. I can only guess that the yacht was kept in the Med as it was sold again in the Baleric Islands to a couple from Southern Africa in 2001. I stumbled across their blog "The Slow Track to Everywhere" when I was searching the Internet for details on "Forever". This blog documents their voyage around the world. It is an interesting read and one I would recommend to anybody dreaming of living their dream.

It would appear that they circumnavigated the globe, staying as close to the warm Equator as possible! They also navigated the French Canals, in a northerly direction before bringing "Forever"to Devon in 2012/2013.

We purchased "Forever" from this couple and I can only assume that they were very sad to let her go. We can reassure them that we will try and return her to her former glory and look after her as well as they did.
