"FOREVER"

Our Planned Voyage 2014

Exmouth, Devon
Once "Forever" is hopefully back in the water after Easter 2014, we will take her for a few short sails on the Exe estuary, to iron out any small problems that may exist. Once we are happy that all systems are working fine, we will start the next part of "Forever" career. This voyage back to Ireland is scheduled for late June 2014, weather and working commitments permitting.
There is a long list of potential crew members, some who may be on board for a few days, some for the whole trip.
Dartmouth, Devon
We plan a short coastal journey from Exmouth to Dartmouth in a leisurely day sail (if windy) or motor cruise(if not). We plan to overnight in Dartmouth and explore it's centres of boisterous hospitality!
Plymouth, Devon
Another day trip, under sail, motor or combination of both should bring us around Start Point and if time permits, a lunch visit to Salcombe could be on the cards. Then across Bigbury Bay and onto Plymouth for another night of boisterous hospitality!!!!
Falmouth, Cornwall
This day trip we will try and do as close to a direct passage as possible, across the Bay and overnight in Falmouth. A visit to Rick Stein's fish and Chip restaurant could well be on the cards.
Penzance, Cornwall
Leaving Falmouth, we will follow the coast, navigate around the Lizard and head across Mounts Bay to overnight in Penzance. There will most likely be a crew change here in Penzance as we prepare for the next and propably the most difficult part of our voyage.
Scilly Isles
We plan to leave Penzance with a decent weather window, to sail south of Lands End and head west to the Scilly Isles. We will make for St Marys Harbour http://www.stmarysharbour.co.uk/wpcontent/uploads/2011/06/IOS_Brochure.pdf and spend a couple of days cruising the islands, weather permitting, before heading due north and home.
Dungarvan Harbour
The final leg of this particular voyage will involve a 140 nautical mile trip across the Celtic Sea, around Helvic Head and onto our new mooring in the Western Bay in Dungarvan Harbour.
